Since its launch in 2015, the "Fujian Brand Sea Silk Line" activity has been an important brand and starting point for our department to actively integrate into the construction of the core area of sea silk. In 2017, the Department specially arranged financial funds to support the holding of 11 key exhibitions of "Fujian Brand Silk Line" in Asia and Africa along the Silk Line, including the Vietnam International Power Equipment and Technology Exhibition, India New Delhi Leather and Footwear Exhibition, Philippines Food Exhibition, South Africa International Trade Exhibition, and China (Dubai) Trade Fair. Up to now, the two key exhibitions of "Fujian Brand Sea Silk Line", Indonesia International Leather and Footwear Expo from May 18 to 20 and Philippines Food Exhibition from May 19 to 21, have been successfully held and achieved good results.
First, it has great influence.
The Indonesian International Leather and Footwear Expo has been strongly supported by the Indonesian Ministry of Trade, the Ministry of Industry and the Indonesian Footwear Association, the Indonesian Leather Association and other institutions, which has a far-reaching impact on the Indonesian leather and footwear industry, and has been held for 11 consecutive years, which is the largest exhibition in Indonesia. The Philippines International Food Exhibition is one of the most professional international food exhibitions in the Philippines and even the whole Asia, with a total exhibition area of more than 20,000 square meters and more than 10,000 professional buyers.
Second, enterprises have high enthusiasm for participating in the exhibition.
Indonesia is the largest economy in ASEAN, the population size ranks fourth in the world, although the Indonesian shoe industry is the world's fifth largest shoe exporter, but there is obvious industrial complementarity with the shoe industry in our province. This year, our province organized 20 enterprises and 26 booths to exhibit footwear machinery, footwear molds, footwear materials and other products. With a population of more than 100 million, the Philippines is the largest export market in ASEAN in our province, and the food manufacturing industry accounts for more than 40% of the total production of the Philippine manufacturing industry. This year, Fujian brand Sea Silk Line - Philippines Station organized 17 enterprises and 23 booths to participate in the exhibition, with product categories covering canned fruits and vegetables, candy, biscuits, potato chips, meat muffins, seafood and food machinery.
Third, the unified image of the exhibition.
Fujian exhibition area all use special image display, from the exhibition logo, conference guidance, advertising billboards everywhere reflect the overall image of "Fujian brand Haisai line", eye-catching and clear, brand prominent, successfully attracted the attention of the majority of merchants, showing a very intuitive brand effect.
Fourth, the docking is more solid.
In the Fujian brand Haisei Line - Indonesia station, our province specially printed a brochure for exhibitors, held a special matchmaking meeting between Fujian enterprises and Indonesian buyers, on the basis of prior docking, the on-site matching intention is as high as 50%. In the Fujian brand Haisai Line - Philippines station, with the cooperation and support of the organizing committee, exhibitors in our province went to local food supermarkets and professional markets for field docking exchanges to help exhibitors understand the local market and product needs.
Fifth, the results are better.
"Fujian Brand Silk Line" activity has been praised by exhibitors, exhibitors reflected that this is a new model, a new breakthrough, for enterprises to build a platform to strengthen economic and trade ties with countries along the silk line. Under the influence of the publicity of "Fujian Brand Haisei Line", the local attention of Fujian enterprises has increased, the brand recognition is also improving, and more buyer resources have been obtained.
